But I thought that as I&#8217;m listening to my music on shuffle to try and ease some of the dreariness of my life, I&#8217;d share some of my favorite morbid songs as they come up.  First off, one of my favorite songs about suicide &#8211; &#8220;Land&#8221; from Patti Smith&#8217;s incredible 1975 debut album <em>Horses<\/em>.
