Villisca Ax Murder House (Villisca, Iowa)
In the pre-dawn hours of June 10, 1912 an ax murderer crept into Josiah Moore’s house in Villisca, Iowa and slaughtered everyone in it: Josiah, his wife Sarah, and six children aged 5 to 12. The murderer was never caught, but allegedly his victims continue to roam in the house – which is now the Villisca Ax Murder House and Museum. It has become a hotspot for paranormal activities, and is considered one of the “Most Haunted” houses in America.
