I went urban exploring again last Friday in an abandoned church in Chicago and came away with some nice (and sometimes creepy) pics. I thought you might enjoy them? (Click on the picture to access the album on Flickr.)
A Cornucopia of Morbid Esoterica Collected By The Comtesse DeSpair.
Really beautiful pictures. I loved the one with the green glass windows, and the next to last picture, showing the pews and the comment in the dim light. The ones with the dried flowers and the leaves on the windowsill were intriguing as well. Thank you for putting them on line.
I think I know this church from when I did my undergrad at Chicago. Has it been graffitied and tagged on the outside, namely the upper parts?
@Negathle No, it’s still clean on the outside. And the inside, thankfully!
Wow, it’s spacious enough, I thought it well represented the abandoned church on the south side that I know of. But looking again, I suppose this church does have too many windows to be the same. Beautifully documented!
